Do you communicate well through your emails? Some email marketers are so brief they barely get their message across and come across as very abrupt and unfriendly while others drone on like a Politician avoiding a question they don't want to answer. Emails are just another form of talking to the recipient and many writers come across as abrupt with their brevity and this is most discouraging to the reader. Who wants to click a link anywhere they suggest simply because one may find more of the same rudeness there. So they have defeated their purpose of building a list to communicate with by not really connecting with their readers.

Learning how to persuade someone can help you effectively be a better sales person, which in turn to put more money in your pockets because you're making more sales. You need to be likable and someone people can relate to. Mimic their rate of speech and body language. There is a fine line between mocking and mimicking, so you may need to practice this. Have a clear understanding of their wants and needs. You may need to ask questions, but be aware and many times people are standoffish in the beginning. Some people like to segue into the sales relationship and prefer to be social and informal, while others like know the bottom line.

Of course I am miles away from being declared the "The one who knows how to stop arguing", but I'll tell you one interesting thing I learned about communication in my tiny life. The Ugly Truth Revealed
