Is He Thinking About Committing to You?

It comes as a shock to many women when they've been with a man for sometime and he is nowhere near a proposal. When it comes to commitment, there are several different types of men:

1. Men who are Bad Boys aka "jerks"

These kinds of men hold power over women by refusing to become emotionally intimate with them. They are always commitment phobic. If you watched the movie, "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" you'll see how the initial attitude of the character made tons of women chase him because he was the person in control by holding the balance of power in the relationship. He didn't believe in commitment.

Women chase these men down for several reasons but if you understand how human nature works, what makes these men appear so appealing is the appearance of being strong and in control. These are Alpha Male qualities that naturally appeal to women. However, they seek power by caring less when in relationships. They will treat a woman with disrespect or string her along because they know these kinds of women will care more. The more emotionally invested one becomes, the less power they have if the feeling isn't reciprocated.

2. Men who are "Nice Guys"

These kinds of men get pushed into commitment by ultimatums, pressure from their family or friends. They are truly not ready and even unsure but are Wussies who go along with the status quo. These are the kind of guys who can't say no.

3. Men who are "Great Guys" by not ready

These are the kinds of guys who want to play the field because they really have nothing to lose. They want to keep their freedom for as long as they can and they know that it is easy to find women to have a good time with. Women easily give it up to these fellas. They use their status and good looks to catch women and women fall for them. They are guys who will date around but it is difficult for women to catch these types of men because they are not at a place in life where they are willing to settle down.

4. Men who are the "Marrying Kinds"

These are the kinds of guys who's got it together and just want to meet a woman to find that magical spark and if a woman can create that spark in them, they are willing to go the distance for her and build a great life together.
