Married Women Cheating - Why Women Cheat

Studies have shown that there are more married women cheating on their husbands now than ever before. For some reasons, marital vows seem to mean less than the used to in the old days. So why women cheat on their spouses? There are several responses that are given by women who are having affairs as to the reason they cheat.

One of the main reasons given by women is that their expectations were not met. Those expectations could be romance, passion, attention, responsibility, motivation, more money, a better job, intimacy, etc. All of that combined with limited communication between the spouses drives married woman to cheat.

Some women say that it is healing to have an affair. Especially if the have been cheated on before, they will cheat to give the spouse a dose and his own medicine and the revenge feels good. They feel healed to find that lost sexual self that they felt was gone after their spouse went out and cheated.

If a woman does not feel loved, or feel that her husband is emotionally withdrawn, or feel the lack of pleasure and intimacy in a relationship, she's more likely to seek all of those outside of her marital relationship. She will find someone to have an affair with to get what's lacking in her relationship.

In order for couples to minimize the possibilities of a partner's cheating, keep an open line of communication and know each others needs are being met. If you feel that the relationship is getting old and boring, have an affair with each other. Go back to doing things you did when you first met. Having an affair and the lies involved are too complicated. And life is too short to make it complicated!
