• Hanging out a lot - Is he/she hanging out with friends instead of hanging out with you? When did you two go out on a romantic date? If they hang out regularly, it's a sign that they are up to something.
• Credit Card Statements - Check his/her credit card bills to find out what he/she is buying? Are they spending a lot more than they used to? Are they buying expensive stuff? This is another step that can plainly tell you as to whether they are up to something or not.
