What will you do if you find out that your spouse is cheating on you? While this question seems harsh, not answering it may leave you in the dark, like a fool with an unfaithful partner. Accept that no relationship is perfect. Even if you spouse promised that he/she will love you forever, they could be doing something behind your back already. So if you think that your spouse is already seeing someone else, here are ways that you can discover the truth.

Clear your mind. Disarrayed thoughts and paranoia will get you nowhere. Remember that a clearer mind will allow you to think better and reflect properly on your relationship with your spouse.

Review your spouse's excuses for not being with you. Suspicions that your spouse may be seeing someone new can arise out of the fact that he/she seems to be spending less time with you and more time at work, with friends, and with people you do not know. You can also call up his/her workplace to verify if those extended business trips are real, or contact his/her friends to verify if they are indeed with them.

Unexplained expenses. Take a look at your spouse's bank statements that are related to his/her credit card bills, ATM receipts, and withdrawals. Start getting suspicious if you large amounts of money being withdrawn or spent on things that do not concern you at all. You can also take a look at his/her mobile phone bill and check for unknown numbers that they keep calling.

Watch out for changes in attitude. Is your spouse normally a romantic person and then he/she is suddenly cold? Does your spouse suddenly have significant changes in his/her looks? Is your spouse avoiding intimacy? Watch out for telltale signs of infidelity based on the changes in your spouse's attitude towards you, especially if he/she starts behaving in an opposite manner than how you expect him/her to act while you are together.
